MD Property Management, in conjunction with a Web Software Development Company, has developed a web based software system called Tidyblocks, www.tidyblocks.com. Tidyblocks is a communication & reporting tool that allows us to communicate with owners directly through the website. We issue each owner a unique user name and password for logging onto the site. The site centrally locates all general documents that may be required by owners from time to time and allows them to download same (i.e. AGM Minutes, General Letters, Newsletters, and Company Accounts).

In addition to this, when owners log on to the website, they can view the ‘latest news’ section which we use to keep owners abreast of issues that they may wish to be aware of. In the past we have used this tool to communicate with our larger blocks to keep people up-to-date with issues such as the failure of the electric gates. We can notify people of the issue online and update this from our end throughout the course of the problem in order to let people know that we are dealing with the issue and when it is expected to be resolved.

In addition to being a reporting tool for the owners, Tidyblocks is also a management tool for us as all issues that arise in any development are logged into this system. This gives us a comprehensive list of all issues that are currently being attended to within a given development, gives us an audit trail of every issue as it happens and allows the Directors to see the progress that is being made within the development.
